Stopped by one of our favorite tasting rooms outside of Bertram, TX for Mother's Day. Had a great time. the weather has been warm and the grapes are loving it. some of the vines have more than 40 clusters. I am not sure of the variety. Pilot Knob makes some great wines all from Texas grapes. Good times.

Never heard of a vineyard in Bertram before.

Right off 29?

Address is Bertram but actually a few miles north of hwy 29, west of hwy 183. Here is a link to the directions.

The vineyard is beautiful but not huge. The tasting room pours two whites, two reds and a rose. Very good and all Texas fruit. I think they get fruit from the Texas high plains AVA too. Worth checking out if you are ever in the area.
