The darnedest thing I ever threw a leg over, I will taste the wine when I get brave enough. bk

I've had this happen before. Was it grapes or a kit? Do you have an idea of the amount of sulfite in the wine or can you test for it? You want to get it up to 50PPM and rack off because the lees may be infected. Check in a week to look for any re-growth.

One more thing - if this is mycoderma it spreads easily I had three carboys get infected because I was using the same instrument. You should consider a complete sterilization of all your winemaking equipment. This stuff can come back.
