Management Tips Between the Rows?

I have 10 foot spacing between my three rows at 450' long. For the moment I
keep the weeds at bay with mowing but long term should I plant grass or some cover crop to mulch in. Zone 5 with Cab Franc, St. Vincent, and Chambourcin.

Well, I think it all depends on the soil. If you have fertile soil and lots of vigor I would think grass cover would be great. If not, then a cover crop that would add to the soil might be more beneficial.
