Thislast springwhile wine tasting in Paso Robles, my wife bought a couple of grape vine cuttings. We planted each one in a half barrel and place them on our deck. Originally it was going to be her "thing" since she is good with plants and i am as we will say a "plants nightmare"....lol. Anyway, as the vine started to grow, i began to play more attention to it. It ended up that i did all the trussing, clipping and routing of the vines.
They are now about 4-5'tall with a nice "T" shape to them. The trunk has gotten to about a 1/2" thick and looks to still be thickening. The leaves got nice and big and are now starting to turn into fall colors. I love the fall!!
One season down and 2 more untill we get some grapes. I cant wait!!Edited by: Mr Robusto
