Okay, I've never made a beer.

I've made a lot of wine. Yes. Some pretty weird ones as well.

I was IMing with Stinkie tonight, and he told me that beer wasn't that hard to make.

My husband LOVES Hefeweizen.

I'm a wine-brewer at heart, so..... sock it to me. What's the difference? What else do I need to make some beer for my better half?

All you need is dedicated 7.9 gal fermenter and a stainless steel pot (minimum 16 quart) for making beer....you have everything else.

Oh and that Fizz-X on your wish list as stirring to add oxygen to the wort is important to get fermentation started quickly.

BTW: The key to some beers like Hefeweizen is using the correct yeast...it makes all the difference in the world!

Hahaha,

Well, we'll see about the beer-making. I have my hands full with the wine stuff as it is.

But thanks for the info. I might have to look into it.

Actually, that's a scary thought. 2 OCD people in a small area in the basement....
