Is there any reason to not use a primary fermentation container for secondary fermentation?

I only have 4 carboys and 2 big mouth bubblers. Shortly I will have 4 full carboys and 2 empty big mouth bubblers. Is there any reason I can't make another batch and rack the wine from one bubbler to the other and use it for the secondary stage? I can't really think of one...only issue I could potentially see is that the bubblers are 6.5 gallons and that would leave a half gallon of air space in there. I would think that the CO2 would drive out the O2 though, so it shouldn't be problematic.

Thanks in advance

You are correct that air space would be the problem. CO2 is only given off while fermentation is going on. Once complete you will no longer have protection.
