Is there any reason to not use a primary fermentation container for secondary fermentation?

I only have 4 carboys and 2 big mouth bubblers. Shortly I will have 4 full carboys and 2 empty big mouth bubblers. Is there any reason I can't make another batch and rack the wine from one bubbler to the other and use it for the secondary stage? I can't really think of one...only issue I could potentially see is that the bubblers are 6.5 gallons and that would leave a half gallon of air space in there. I would think that the CO2 would drive out the O2 though, so it shouldn't be problematic.

Thanks in advance
