I see a lot of adds for
xxx per 5 gallon frozen must bucket!
Question is, must is concentrated juice, normally 1.5 gals must
makes about six gallons of juice. Yes / No
Does this xxx per 5 gallon frozen must bucket!,, contain skins
and how much juice would it create ?
Thanks

Depends, there are juice buckets, 100% juice and grape must buckets that hsve whole, crushed grapes in them.

Each makes about 5 gallons of wine.

I am also looking into frozen grape must online. This is actually just destemmed crushed grapes poured into a bucket and flash frozen. These are different than juice buckets which are just that, depending on where you get it. I have read on different sites that the amount you get for a 5 gallon @50 pound grape must pail is anywhere from 3 to four gallons. I think the spread of finished wine relates to the ability to press the grapes. By hand or two buckets will yield less than using a grape press. I am so ready for grape must but at about $190+ delivered for only 3-4 gallons I am in sticker shock.

Ps these numbers are for RED grapes. White will make @5 gallons and are usually just juice.
