Hello,

I am a first time wine maker. I bought a kit off of eBay that should get me going and pointed in the right direction. I also chose to buy a kit wine to make everything as simple as possible off the back. I'd like to get a good understanding of what I am doing before I start to experiment.

My main question is with the kit wine I purchased. I bought Ocean Breeze Kiwi Melon Pino Grigio mix, and from my understanding this kit is all I need to make the wine. The only thing I am worried about is the alcohol content. If I am not mistaken, it is roughly 6-7%.

If I am correct, the more alcohol in the wine the longer it will last. Thus I would need to add sugar to the wine. Is this something I should bother doing with a white wine? If so, when is the best time to add the sugar?

Do you have any good websites that helped you the first time you started to brew?

Thank you, and I cannot wait to start :)
