Which means I need to order some K-C, then.I believe that bentonite gets rid of protein haze, K-C gets rid of other stuff. In the kit world, specifically Spagnols & Cellar Craft, both bentonite & K-C are used.
Isinglass is as difficult to get in my area as KC is. The recipe is for 6 gallons of peach wine, btw. Would I be able to get away with using food-grade gelatin powder from the grocery store?I don't know your recipe or your quantity. Isinglass will probably work, if you have some. Also time & a couple of extra rackings will probably work.
