I got two of these at $50 off each on sale.
The first one is complete and I tweaked it a lot..
Added 1 kilo each of frozen blackberries and raisins, plus a litre of boiled banana juice ( about a dozen ripe bananas).. fermented out to dry.
It's thickened it up a lot without over doing the fruit flavour.. it's more that the blackberry seems to have blended into the merlot. Well it was only a kilo after all. the wine is currently bulk storing in the barn.
I've started another one today .. same recipe.. thing is I'm tempted to mess with an fpac of blackberry this time.. and finish it sweeter..
After the thrill of the chocolate port.. any thoughts on me making a blackberry chocolate fpac .. and adding it to the merlot?
