Hi all,
I recently picked up a very cheap kit (5.1L Leibfraumich) and I want to add some hot peppers it the batch. Looking for roughly "Medium" heat level. How many Jalapenos would you add? I'm thinking 15-20ish for a 6 gallon batch. Also, is there anything else I might need to add to this?

If anyone has an advice that would be great, if not, i'll just go ahead and see what happens :):)
 
Several of us on the forum have made Jalepeno pepper wine. I used a welches grape base with 12 peppers per gallon. It had alot of bite. I believe Runningwolf did his with 10 per gallon. Good bite to it. I think for a medium bite, I would shoot for 5-7 per gallon. That would give good flavor and a mild bite. JMHO
