I had a rather poor fruit set this summer which left me with thousands of undeveloped little green acid bombs about 1/8-1/4 inch diameter. So because I have no life right now, I spent the last week removing all berries that were not turning color. I think a lot of them would have dried up and fallen off anyway but it gave me time to remove any damaged berries as well and scout for pests. My spray program worked well this year grapes look great, my Marquette has a pretty neutral taste right now I’m hoping for a little more fruit in the next couple weeks. Anyway after removing thousands of unripe berries I think the wine will be pretty good this year. And no stink bugs so far.
