Will the 8x1/2 size cork fit the bellisimo bottles?

I'm guessing you mean 1 1/2"? I have no idea. If you have some slowly try it.

I used #9x1-1/2 on mine.

Goodfella, I used #8 but they didn't seat all the way down in to the Bellisimo bottles. Had to use the hand corker which was a major PAIN!! Those bottles look nice but are tricky to fill and cork imho.

I use a regular #9 1 3/4 with both Portuguese and Italian floor corkers and they work just fine. You just have to make sure the bottle is correctly aligned.
