So I have some Catawba vines that are three/four years old. This year they seem to be ripening very early. Most of the clusters looks very ripe, but still have some random green berries on them. The grapes smell very good and taste sweet. I few berries are drying up and turning into raisins (could be bugs). The seeds are a light brown to brown color.

I feel like I need to harvest but I know Catawba grapes usually ripen late in the season. We've had a lot of hot and dry weather this summer so I am wondering if they have ripened early this year. I don't have any equipment to test the grapes and and with only 5 vines I cant afford to keep crushing grapes and testing the juice. Has anyone else harvested early this year? Should I wait a couple more weeks? Thanks.
