I have a 5 gallon jug of cab thats been sitting in my closet for about 6 years now. What happened is a co-worker at my old job made his own wine (he actually used to run a winery) and I went in on some grapes w/ him to make my own. Well I got laid off and fell out of touch with him.

So now I have a 5 gallon jug needing to be bottled.

To do this myself, what equipment would I need? What process should be followed?

I'd rack off the sediment then add 5 crushed camden tablets to the clean wine. Next, get a racking cane (plastic straw with a check valve) with a length of tubing to fit. You can get these from any wine making supply store...inexpensive and easy to use. If this is going to be your one and only time doing this try to rent or borrow a corker. You'll need 25 750ml wine bottles and at least that many corks. After that you're on your way just fill the bottles and cork them.
