Blackberry/Blueberry wine

Has anyone made a Blackberry/Blueberry wine? I have about 20lbs of Blackberries, and about 20lbs of Blueberries. I do not think that is enough to make 5 gallon batch of either. I am considering making one batch using both of them. I welcome all suggestions and advice.

Sounds good though

Blueberry comes off Merlot-ish to me while Blackberry comes off Cab Sauv.-ish to me.. Should make a nice blend..

I would make 3 gallon batches and then blend afterwards, but I don't think it would be a disaster to ferment them together.

you may want to throw in about 3 jars of blackberry (seedless) jam.

You can make 5 gallons from 20# of blueberries. You'll just have to add a lot of sugar. But the recipe I'm using for a 1 gallon batch is using 3#, and so far, it's on its way to becoming wine. Of course, I won't know the final result until much later, but so far it's chugging along and doing what it's supposed to be doing.

you could make 2 5 gallon batches with 20/20
