Apache Blackberries?

Anyone make wine using Apache blackberries?

I have not made wine from them... I would assume it would be great!!! (same as wine from regular Blackberries)

Blackberry wine with some oak.... UMMMMMMM.

They should be very nice to pick, as they have no thorns.....

I just planted 8 plants today

Our Arapaho, Navaho and Apache did poorly here in WV even thooughh they had irrigation, they picked up a lot of vine dieseases and the berries were deformed by some kind of fungus that made some of the parts of the berries buldge out in these big while hard growths. The berries that didnt have all these problems did taste good, just for it there are to much problems when compared to triple crown which our only problem with them is that they grow over the trellis pretty fast.

I pulled mine up today. Going to put in Kiowa, Natchez and Oauchita instead. After much research I have found that they grow best in my area.
