...grommet. While cleaningthe lid to myprimary this morning I decided to take out the grommet andit defiantly needed it. It wasn't totally nastyjust a place I've been over looking.I wouldn't wantit inthe wine.Any tips on cleaning the lid seal? I try to sling all the water out each time but am sure there's still moisture back there.

Good question mud! I pull the gasket out every other time and wipe it down with sanitizing solution and try to shake off as much as I can.Same with my spigot and those gaskets.

wade,Ididn't know it could be removed. I feel like this is a stupid question but,what are ya using to get the ol'gasketout?

Needle nose pliers works well or Hemostats.
