    My 2 year old son pulled the plastic airlock out of the rubber stopper on my carboy. It was bulk aging for about 2 mos. The airlock was off for 2 days. Is it ruined? I am going to go ahead and sulfite and bottle it tomorrow, and am hoping it makes it. Any thoughts? Thanks guys Jack

    I wouldn't want to sit and drink it yet. It was sharp. I am hoping and pretty sure it will get smoother in another 6-12 mos.

    Yeast started in warm (105 degree ) water, sat for 15 min then added to 72 degree must. The process and numbers do check out.... Thanks

    I am certain it's not fermenting. SG is higher than start, due to adding raisins after 24 hrs from pitching yeast.

    Hi, my all juice kit is a little slow to start, so I will prob need to leave it in the primary a couple extra days (leaving town for overnighter on day 5). Is this ok? I assume yes, since it's not a really long extended time period, but wanted to ck with some pros. Thanks! Jack

    I bottled it up on 8/30. The 2-3 extra glasses worth did not go to waste- I am really excited about how good this will potentially be a year from now. What a cool hobby.....

    Hi, this is my 4th kit. I started this one Monday, now Wednesday. It doesn't seem to have the same activity as the other kits I have done, no real bubbles, or surface swirling movement. I follow all instructions to a T and sterilize everything. What gives? Am I just worrying over nothing...

    Starting SG was 1.080, now at 1.074. Room and must constant 74 degrees.
