Just went downstairs to find my rubber carboy top had popped off. I was finished and ready to bottle tomorrow. It was only exposed to air for about 8 hours...
Am I in trouble??
Make that NOT PERFECTLY CLEAR! i have a legacy pinot Grigio ready to bottle, but its not perfectly clear. It tastes great, but a slight bit cloudy. Should I wait, or who cares??
I have two kits going at one time and only one brew belt. I have tried to wrap it around both, but it doesn't fit.
My question is, is the belt better used on a red or white?
Or is there a genius who knows of a way to give some heat to both??
Wondering what people's favourite early drinkers are. Could we do a top 5 like the one of any kits in earlier posts? I'd love to get everyone's input. I've heard that the Cheeky Monkeys and Vintners Reserve are good...
Can I get some suggestions on which Cabernet or Cab blend to buy? I love a good cab and am new to making. I was looking at Selection International Australian Cabernet Shiraz maybe. I shop at Wine Sense, BTW. Thanks!
I just made a Diablo Rojo and it turned out pretty good, but a bit sweet for me.
I have two kits going right now and only one heat belt. Right now the heat belt is on the kit that is in its secondary fermentation stage. The other kit is just tarted yesterday. Would I be better to have the heat belt on the one that is in primary fermentation or the kit in secondary??
Thanks!
