    Wine Making Business

I know the guy here sells the kits and supplies too so thats another option for cash flow. He is making money and more and more people are going in there. The process at the store is about 6 weeks start to end so the above numbers would be doubled. I'm not saying it'll make you a millionaire...

    Wine Making Business

We have a couple in town here. The one I went to was about $200(Though it can go higher) or so. You went in for every step, though they altered the directions a bit to save a step. He only deals in Wine Expert kits. I was very impressed with it, they have all the toys like a 4 bay vacuum...

Cellar Craft Removing grape pack from primary

Well, it was actually pretty easy. Was able to get a good amount of juice out of it too!

Cellar Craft Removing grape pack from primary

So its time to rack my CC Amarone out of the primary! Whats the best way to get the grape pack out? From what I see it looks like its a simple as reaching in and squeezing the juice out of the bag. I would assume I should rinse my hands in sulfite solution before I do so. It just seems a little...

Trying to decide on my next kits

I just ordered the Cellar Craft Amarone with the Super Pack. Should be here next week and I'll probably get it going over Thanksgiving. The grape packs have me curious so I'm really looking forward to it!

Someone posted a link a while ago...

Hi all! Someone posted a link a while back for a web page that had a show where the guy reviewed reasonably priced wines. I searched and couldn't find anything. Can someone point me in the right direction please? Thanks!!

Mosti Mondiale MM All Juice Gewurtztraminer

I've had mine bulk aging for a few months, brought it upstairs yesterday and added the fining agents and will probably bottle in a couple weeks. Tastes real nice so far, I'm sure you'll enjoy it! Edited by: Mike1973

Mosti Mondiale Another Fresh Juice question

Yeah, thats what I figured. I'll be doing some fresh juice from around here anyway but thought this would be fun too. Oh well, theres always next year!

Mosti Mondiale Another Fresh Juice question

So as it turns out, based on the projected shipping schedule, the day that the frozen juice would be delivered is the day that I head to Key West for a long weekend! So first question is, does it have to be worked on right away? Assuming that I got it Thurs and was back early Mon. would that be...

    WineXpert Started my Bergamais

I've used Midwest for beer stuff for a while, they have a real good selection so I got my first "mail order" wine kit from them. I still like Midwest a lot, but George has a much better selection for kits! (I'm in the Rochester, NY area by the way) Edited by: Mike1973

Its called Wine Label, I think (very original!). My brother found it a while back. Its easier than Photoshop and has lots of templates and stuff too. When I get home tonight I'll take a look at the exact name and version.

    WineXpert Started my Bergamais

Yeah I noticed that, I copied it off another site and they had it spelled wrong!! I'm probably not even going to worry about it at this point, this was more of an experiment label.

Whoops, that was odd! Anyway, above is the filtering and then the finished product! The program I use for the labels doesn't save as a normal image file so here is a closeup of the label, not bad for someone who refers to themself as "Horribly Un-creative"
