    How much wine do you drink??

    I make lots of wine so I cam drink lots of wine lol. I don't think it would be too many bottles to count but I'm not going to count them. This way I can continue to tell my doctor that I drink moderately.

    Rubber bung taste!!!

    All of mine that have had the "rubber" smell have lost it over time. One turned out to be the best batch of apple wine I have made so far. That one took about 10 months before it was good to drink.

    yep, buy them all. It starts with one but it don't take long before you need more. first time you rack you will need another one. Then since you have that carboy sitting there you will start another wine. Then comes time to rack again and on and on it goes lol.

    ooops! I need help.

    I used a blueberry slurry in a batch of skeeter pee about a month ago. It had fermented dry in the primary. I also used the mesh bag of berries. It took right off with no extra work. There is a bit of a sulphur nose that is slowly dissipating tho so I would use more nutrient next time...

    Found some frozen blueberries at Gordon foods this weekend so I am going to start another batch. Next summer I'm going to get more berries in the freezer.

    I added them at the beginning, used the blender to chop them up a bit. same with the blueberries. Threw them in a sanitized mesh bag and added the campdens and pectic enzyme. Wait 24 hours and pitched the yeast. I used montrachet.

    Washington may be good for fruit but Michigan rules lol. We even can make ice wine.
