The wine that is in there has been sitting for more than a year and I wanted to get it out so that I can start a new batch.

Thanks Redboatny, I never thought about using the sanitize setting on the dishmachine. No dralarms, the closets supply store is 11/2 hours away.

What can I use to sanatize my bottles before filling? I usually use k meta but I need to bottle 6 gallons this weekend and I'm out. Is there any type of household cleaner that I can use?

Thanks hocke and runningwolf. I do have a son who helped me bottle some wine in December to give as gifts, I just want to know if there are any other tips a person may have to help me out. I do have all the needed things that hocke mentioned, minus the "All In One", something to look at.

Last June I suffered a stroke and lost the use of my right hand, my dominant hand. This yr I want to get back into wine making and need to know what things I can do to help myself along.

How about an update on the wine? It's been a little cold here in Michigan for a good flow of sap, should warm up this week.

I got the same one for Christmas. I have bottles with labels on the outside and bottles without labels on the inside. Did yours come with a shade for the bulb.
