Hi All I want to try my new vacuum pump for the first time this morning but ran into a problem. When I turned on the pump I had a volcano. The wine was going everywhere. I step the pump up the one I saw in the How To Tutorials. What did I do wrong? Thanks for your help.

#8 cork is 7/8 round #9 cork is 15/16 round. I use #9 corks in wine bottles.

I only buy new. This way I know it will have a warranty if something is wrong. One time I bought something that was used that was off on e-bay. When I got the thing it didn't work and the seller wont give my money back. Never again that I will buy something is used. THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION!!
