Wine barrel racks with adjustable height feet?

I did use wood wedges. But that’s not a great solution.

Wine barrel racks with adjustable height feet?

that’s what I’d like to do. But I’m looking for a rack that has leveling feet.

Wine barrel racks with adjustable height feet?

Not concerned at all with racking. It’s a leveling issue with 1200 lbs of weight stack three levels high. If my bottom row isn’t level that presents a serious hazard on the third level of barrels of the bottom level of barrels is not level.

Wine barrel racks with adjustable height feet?

Can anyone tell me where I can find regular 60 gallon wine barrel racks with adjustable height feet? By barrel room is sloped at 1% from the walls to the drain in the middle of the barn and in some areas it would be nice to have just the bottom rack adjustable so I can level and stack the...

Anyone had experience with the ViMeg TAC Pneumatic Corker?

Yes I own it. Used it for my first bottling two months ago. Very nice machine. Ran through about 800 bottles in two hours. I had to remove the safety protective shield and take down the auto shut off switch because we kept having corks get pushed into place crooked before the piston would drive...

    Mycoderma or Residual ML Nutrient?

Post MLF I removed my 500L tank lid to find a very thin layer of what looked like some type of start of bacterial growth or perhaps left over ML nutrient that wasn’t consumed during MLF. SO2 is at 8ppm and MLF just finished Malic acid is at zero. . PH is 3.45 and no off smells or flavors. VA is...

    MLF not starting...

Very glad your MLF kicked off! I’m encountering a similar situation with 3 of my 4 large tanks. PH is 3.42 SO2 is under 10 ppm, ABV is 13.5 added Acti-ML nutrient and temp started at 64 degrees, now adjusted to 68. As soon as room was adjusted to 68 one of the 4 tanks took off as evidenced by...

Malolactic Fermentation - No Airlock Bubbles?

This MLB is rated down to 54 degrees and I'm at 65, started at 70...I have barrels in the room so can't really go higher. Its a 500L tank too so can't really "shake it"...Just wondering if the airlock should be pushing positive pressure or not on a tank that size.

REPLACING MARBLE AIRLOCK ON MARCHISIO 500L TANK

Thanks everyone! I went with the riser and a #9 stopper for the Marchisio and for the Spiedel tanks I went with the grommeted adapters from Northern Brewers. They are great! https://www.norcalbrewingsolutions.com/store/Speidel-Grommeted-Cap-for-Airlock.html...

Malolactic Fermentation - No Airlock Bubbles?

I have a variable volume 500L tank that has been racked off the gross lees and was inoculated with MLB about a week ago. I performed paper chromatography and it would seem there is a start to the ML fermentation based on the results although no where near finishing (of course). This tank is...

REPLACING MARBLE AIRLOCK ON MARCHISIO 500L TANK

I’d like to replace the factory marble airlock on my Marchisio 500L tanks with a standard S-shaped water airlock. Last season I used a #10 bung with the s-shaped airlock but the steel lip of the lid hole dug into the rubber and some debris could get into the wine. Just was not an elegant...

HOW TO KEEP MUST HOSE FROM FLIPPING OUT OF TANK!

I’m processing 2-3 tons of fruit next week and generally the hose going from the destemmer to the tank gets heavy. If someone doesn’t hold it into the tank the pump will kick the hose back out of the tank when material is pushed through. So a device like this eliminates the human and allows the...

HOW TO KEEP MUST HOSE FROM FLIPPING OUT OF TANK!

This could do the trick! Maybe two of them clamped together with a short hose attached on the portion hanging into the tank. Maybe also pad or wrap the connection with something to protect the tank…brilliant and thank you!

HOW TO KEEP MUST HOSE FROM FLIPPING OUT OF TANK!

Heading into this years winemaking season I'm looking for a hook or some kind of hook like device that I can velcro my 2" must pump hose to and hang from the top lip of the tank to prevent it from flipping out of the tank and getting must everywhere. Has anyone seen a solution like this? Last...

Cleaning in place for variable capacity tanks

I’m seeking a similar solution…I’d like to connect some kind of bulk head that would seal and tighten around the hole where the airlock normally attaches, then have a spray head extend a ft or so into the tank. I’m sure it’s possible with the right parts that fit together. Any luck with a solution?
