Anyone use Sodium metabisulphate?

My local wine distributor/brewer says that he uses Diversol(and rinse with water) only for cleaning and sanitizing all his equipment . Anyone else do the same?

Looks like a mix and I purchased them separately, which is why it probably came in the tea bag format.

I pretty well did the same, without the mesh bag.
