I'm growing 50 St. Pipen and Lacrosse but have found very little information to help me make wine for the first time. Can someone suggest a yeast that would do well with these wines? thanks

You could use EC1118. I checked the wine/yeast pairing guide and your grapes were not mentioned.

Am confused Is this for grapes you have from last year or grapes you are hoping to grow this season? I would look at Lavin 71b. Good for high acid grapes will covert some of the Malic acid during fermentation.

are there others in your area growing these grapes especially wineries. discuss your question with them.

Thanks for your suggestions. I just found a winery in the area who has these grapes and hopefully they can give me some ideas. This is the third year for my grapes and I'm hoping to make some wine with them this year for the first time. thanks again, Gordon
