Yeast Quantity

Hey Guys, This may be a dumb question, but here goes. The recipes for fruit wine calls for yeast of course. But how much is needed. Do you put the entire pack to ferment a 1 gallon mix and the same amount for a 5 gallon mix?

one packet will be fine for both. As long as conditions exist for the yeast to grow one packet will do the job.

The packet is good for up to 5 gallons. I just made my first 1 gallon batch and used the entire packet.
