Temperature controller for CS?

Hi All,

Im looking to cold stabilize my wine in a chest freezer. Do I need a temperature controller to maintain a constant temperature? Was looking at a Johnson A419.

You definitely need a temperature controller or you will definitely freeze those bad boys !

Thanks Steve! What's the ideal temp I should set up the controller for? And how long do you usually CS for?

I will set it for 25 F + or - 2 degrees and I will cold stabilize for 3-4 weeks
My wine is typically 12-14% alcohol so it will not freeze - but make sure you add vodka to your air locks otherwise they will freeze and break
