Since the Show Case Amarone is so thick, will I encounter any problem if I don't use the fining agent? Can you share your experience?
 
Fining agents, which are supplied with kits, pretty much just speed up the clarification process (and add a few more chemicals to your wine). If you don't want to use them, the wine can take 6 months to a year to clear on its own, but it will clear eventually. So it depends on how long you want to wait to drink it.

Just make sure the wine is degassed fully or else the clearing process can take even longer.
