we're going to be harvesting maybe 400-500 lbs of white grapes (osceola muscat)on Saturday, a week or two ahead of the other varieties (3000-4000lbs) in our vineyards. We aren't able to process the grapes immediately and have arranged refrigerated storage. we'll be harvesting into plastic lugs and storing in the same. I know sulfite pads are frequently used when shipping grapes, wondering whether we should spray some sulfite solution over each lug as we stack them prior to storage. If so, any thoughts on solution concentration and dosage per lug?
