Blueberry Melomel

Pitched yeast at 9:00 pm last niight on a Blueberry melomel and obsevered fermentation starting around 11:00mPM. Problem is the fementation TODAY is so active that I have juice overfollowiing every where. Is this normal? Should I just accept this and clean it up? The primary is 7.9 gallons and I am following a posted recipe.

I am goining to try a attach my log.

7.9 gallon primary with 3 or 7.5 gallons of goodies in it?

That can happen. It's probably warm. Transfer some to another container for awhile or frequently stir slowly to release the CO2. Stir too fast and it will overflow. It should slow down in a few days.

Like DjrockinSteve said, the container is too small. When it happens to me I take about a gallon out and place it in a diff container. Should not be a problem. :b
