New From WNY

Hey all, glad to find this place and hope to learn as much as I can. I ordered my vines and am waiting for them to arrive this fall. I have a question about arrangement. I have attached a pic, on it I got labeled, north, wind direction and where I plan on putting the vines. My question is which way to run the vines and trellises. The rest of the open property, 45 acres is corn and Oats. I have about 2 acres marked with blue for the vines.
So any input on how to put the vines and trellises is appreciated.

By the way the rows at the top of the picture are apple trees.

Scocat welcome and good for you to have room to plant your vines. There are several folks on here that can help you out. In the mean time what vines did you order?

Some white, some red, some for mixing and some for eating.
