Just did first racking of Mosti Mondiale Meglioli Old Vine Zin. Per instructions, I stirred and re-suspended sediment after adding yeast nutrient, and she's bubbling away nicely. During primary I added grape pack directly to must and filtered off and substituted Wyeast Zinfandel. Wow...What an amazing initial aroma coming from this baby! After filling the 6 gallon carboy, I still have plenty left over for topping off. Currently resting on oak chips. To be continued...
