how much yeast should i use on a 6 gallon bucket of Regina grape juice? I planned on using the dry yeast packets. I think the packets are 5 grams.

One packet is typically for 5 gal. Someone else will have to help you more with it though...

no, you are right. one packet per 5 gallons.

mix 8 ounces of juice and 8 ounces of warm water in a container. then sprinkle it on top and stir it slightly with a clean spoon. let it sit for like, 3 mins, and the pour it into the mash. let it soak in overnight 8 hours, and then mix it in the morning.

I made a 6 gallon batch and just used 1 packet - worked just fine.

yes 1 pack of a good yeast will work great but if you use bakers yeast i would use 2 tea spoons or 2 packets i know some of you are curling your nose about the bakers yeast, but if you like a good ole time wine taste then this is the yeast lol.

good drinking
:hug
