Half bottles and Hockey Pucks

I will soon be posting pictures of my labours the past week!!


First of all, I want to tell you of a great tip!!


I like to bottle a few half-bottles and discovered a clever way to use the floor corker. Place a standard size hockey puck on the corker where your bottle would go, then place the bottle on top of the hockey puck!! It brings the half bottle up to standard (almost) size so you can easily pull down on the lever and cork your bottle!!


I will send a picture as soon as I put my 2 year old down for a nap and am able to download pics!!

Okay, here is the idea, I finally figured out how to post pictures!!

You can see the hockey puck under the bottle. It absoutely works great. If you are in need of any pucks, I have a ton since I have two hockey players (sons) at my house!! Hee Hee!
