Grape Vines in Planters?

Has anyone successfully grow Vines in large planting pots? I've heard its been done before, but wanted to know if anyone has done it or seen examples on the net.

The ground were we leave is not the best. Plus I would like to take them with us if we ever move.

Just wondering.
