My heater in my garage died and as a result, My lower alcohol wines froze. Will all of my wine be shot at this point? They all were about into 3 months into aging.

This is what wines I have going now that have reached to the freezing point or froze. As of right now, Everything has thawed.

Niagara - Popsicle
Concord - Almost a Popsicle
Plum - Liquid
Peach - Liquid
St. Vincent - Liquid
Rougeon - Liquid
Norton - Liquid

Thanks,
Jeff

There definitely bad. I'll pick them up and dispose of them for you...:)

I think you should sample the unfrozen portion of your Concord and Niagra, and post your comments after you have recovered from your hangover.

Freezing wine take the middle out of the flavor profile. It is drinkable, but loosed a lot of body!

What about the wine that did not freeze? The temperature was close to freezing.

It does not matter how close to freezing it gets. I Cold stabilize to around 20f depending on alcohol content. removes tartrates and does not harm flavor.
