WineXpert Distinct odor

Ok So I workign with a Vinter's rserve Chianti kit. Just done stage 3.
What should it smell like?

I get an odd smell, which might just be C02.
My wife secribed it as a BO smell.

Any thoughts?

Thinking about it, I might just be smelling metabisulphate or campden
tablen solution on my hands. Does that have an odor?

You are smelling a little bit of sulphur. Very normal. It will disipate along with the CO2 when you degas.
