WineXpert Adding Grape Pack to Lodi Ranch Cab

I am thinking of starting a Winexpert Lodi Ranch Cabernet and have a cab grape pack purchased from George. Any problems of adding the grape pack? Would that make the initial SG too high? Too much body? Should I get a cheaper kit like a RJS grand Cru? I can get this kit for about $100 from a local supplier who is running a St. Patrick's Day sale.

Adding the grape pack will make that kit even better. SG will be just fine.
