2013 Chardonnay tucked away and bottled.

Well it is in " the books". My 2013 Chardonnay ( AKA Skylar's Vintage in honor of my daughter born in 2013) is bottled. It was a horrible summer in Alabama with persisting rain and overcast skies making fungus a monster to deal with. I obtained a very low yield that was harvested early. Luckily I was able to correct a few things on the front end and the ph was in range thankfully. My tasting is very interesting with a light crisp Chardonnay almost mirroring a Sauvignon blanc. Anyway, hoping for a better growing season next year.

Awesome picture. Glad it turned out good for you. The WET and I repeat WET year was horrible here in the south. Let's hope we have a better year in'14. That's if we don't freeze to death tonight.
