    Lift for carboy

I started doing vacuum transfers so you never need to lift them. Check out the All in One Wine Pump , Steve is awesome to work with and makes great products. I happened to have a very HD commercial pump and Steve set me up with everything I needed, I would /will buy his pump if mine fails.

What is the temperature that your basement is at for wine storage? Also I was wondering how dark should the basement be for storing the full 6 gallon carboys? My brew storage area is on the same wall as the basement window but 20 feet from it NO direct sunlight ever. If I come down in the...

New to Wine Making - Kit Recommendations

What would be an early drinking Cabernet Sauvignon or red blend you would recommend? I don't know a lot of different reds. We enjoy Malbecs Cabernet Sauvignon and red blends but don't really like merlots as much. I have seen many other red kits but I have never had those wines types before.

Does yeast selection matter for aged reds?

Which do you prefer over the EC-1118 the BM4x4 or RC212 if you could only get one? Mainly I am making Red Blends, Cabs, Malbecs etc

    BIG RED

What other yeast swaps are recommended for wine kits? I will plan on getting some RC 212 the last 2 kits I made both came with EC-1118 I think the RJs Select CA red blend has the EC-1118 as well.

Yes that would be awesome, the 2 red kits I have now need 18-24 months. I think the pink moscato is next summer 9-12 months.
