need advise, welchs wine quit at 1.020

I did one gallon batch of Welch's from concentrate. I did 3 cans and 1 cup sugar. Unfortunately forgot to get OG. pitched flieschmanns dry active and had mild ferment for a few days then quit. Tested gravity and got 1.010. So I let it go a few more days and tested and got 1.012. So at that point...

If I ferment just the sugar water and add the lemon juice when its done will the batch turn out the same. I want to see if I can avoid a slurry and the yeast nutrient and energizer. I figure all that stuff is because of the acidity, why not introduce it after fermentation.

    mason jars

So I'm going to need to bottle hard cider, wine, mead, and skeeter pee. How long will these keep in jars? I would like to get six months out of them. I will fill them to the brim and store upright. I won't be heating them to create vaccum, just screwing the lids on.

just wanted to share my excitment

Just put my first ever batch of hard cider in the freezer and I took a little sip. It came out tasting just like a flat champagne. This was my first time fermenting and didn't expect it to turn out so well. This is a big motivator to try bigger better things.

    first timer

Hello everybody. I live in northern California and have been wanting to make my own spirits at home for a long time. I'm starting as easy as it gets. I've got 1 gal apple juice fermenting to become applejack and a second 1 gal fermenting to be aged. I've already learned a lot from everyone's...
