5 Gallon Carboy with Ridges - Sediment in Ridges

I've noticed this too on a wine of mine, after transferring it looked like most of it stayed behind. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

    Happy Birthday dzachareas

Sorry for the delay guys, the in-laws are in town and I'm pretty busy with them here. The birthday was great! I got a couple 5 gallon corny kegs so I'm mostly done bottling my beer which is fantastic news, I hate bottling. I brought some of the pumpkin spice beer I just made to a get together...

    Chocolate Oatmeal Coffee Stout

As it has aged, it is the best beer I have ever made. I only have two left and it's getting better and better. I think I will bulk age the next one so I can't drink all of it before it is ready.

    Chocolate banana wheat

I bottled it up today. I didn't use any bananas, just a teaspoon of banana extract and a hefty starter of WLP300. I bottled it with a few ounces of 99 Bananas. I let you guys know how it turns out in a week or so.

    Pumpkin Spice Ale

Hey Vcasey, did your husband put the pumpkin in the mash or put it in the boil? I was looking at both options and decided to go with the boil. I would like to try fresh pumpkin in the mash though.

    Chocolate Oatmeal Coffee Stout

It is amazing, by far the second best beer I have ever made. The other being an IPA I brewed a few months ago that I'm going to brew again this month. I have a buddies that don't brew but want to now so they can make this stout. I love this hobby.

    Chocolate Oatmeal Coffee Stout

OG 1.068. I was aiming for sweet because it's the only beer my wife will drink. I'm a much bigger fan of IPA's but she gives me an excuse to brew and drink(enjoy) these sweet heavy stouts. I did a clone of New Belgium's 1554 black ale and she loved it, as did I, it was amazing!
