    salty after taste

    I just bottled a carboy of grape wine. I aged it in the carboy since Sept. of 2006. The wine taste great as you sip it. Then it leaves a salty after taste. Does anyone have any idea what I did wrong? Or what the problem is? Thank You, Badhabit.

    Alcohol content

    I have read that if you take a cup of wine. Take aSG reading. Boil off the alcohol. Take a new reading of SG. And you can get the alochol content. Any other way? Whats a GOOD and accurate meter to buy? If there is one. Badhabit Edited by: Badhibit
