So I just bottled another good batch of skeeter pee today. I tasted it plain it taste good but I had a whole bottle of ReaLemon that was opened already so I took about 1 tablespoon and added it to a typical sized wine glaze and poured the skeeter pee in with it. WOW! This makes it taste even...

To do or not to do

Here is something for homebrewers So what happens when a beautiful young lady walks into your local homebrew shop. 1) Stare? 2) Wonder if she works there? But you also checked out what the other employees was wearing and soon discovered. "No, she can't work here" 3) Wonder if she is...

    Skeeter Pee/ Oak

Yeah I think I might give it a whirl when I can free up the current carboy with SP in it ready to clear soon. I have done some research but not exactly sure if it's better to add it during fermentation or if I should add it after fermentation... Many suggest adding them for 4-5 days of the...

Care to share some skeeter pee reviews?

Felt fine but then I started rolling on the floor like dog with my head on up again doorway.. True story drink this stuff slow...

Super Kleer vs. Sparkolloid for SP

I use bentonite and it has always cleared perfectly for skeeter pee. I haven't tried the others though so I can't compare it, bentonite gets mine crystal clear so it's all I have been using.

Wow thanks all, I didn't know anyone responded I usually get e-mail notifications but decided to visit today just incase and there is tons of posts that I haven't seen yet! The batch right now doesn't taste like my first batch. This batch is horrible and I think it's because of the type of...

    Skeeter Pee (frozen concentrate)

I have my second batch of skeeter pee ready to clear. Instead of 6 cups of sugar I have seen some use frozen cocentrate. I seen one of Lon's post that he used Rasberry frozen concentrate but it didn't say anything specific about how many cans of frozen concentrate to add to the skeeter pee. I...

    Burnt rubber pee

I have a yeast nutrient by Crosby & Baker (fermax) and compared to the first nutrient I bought they are completley different. The first nutrient I used looked more like clear balls and has no odor. However the Crosby & Baker nutrient has a distinct odor and you can even taste this in the must...

    Lemon Juice ingrediants:

Use ReaLemon because alot of the generics I have run into are more watered down. Hit up your bulk supplier depending on where you live (sams club, Bj's) to name a couple. They have 2 48 oz bottles for $5 bucks.
