    WATER BOTTLES

I would use a water bottle to transport juice.I would even use one to make wine in to see if I wanted to get into the wine making hobby ( I did )I would not use the same one twice and I would not bulk age in it. I think that the better bottles are great!!! Just not better unless they are...

Mosti Mondiale Bulk Aging Vinfera Noble

fining agents combine with particals in the wine making them heavy causing them to fall out. this can cause the wine to change color, flavor and odor. ( good or bad) The less you use the less you change. the later you use it the less it is needed. Vinfera Noble kits are good on taste and good at...

    WATER BOTTLES

I useda water bottle on my very first wine. I still have 6 bottles of 3 year old plastic cranberry wine. I did learn that I do not want a better bottle. Every time I moved the thing it sucked the vodka out of the airlock. And I learned that if you use a better bottle you better use vodka...

Mosti Mondiale La Bodega - Primary Fermentation

I am sure that it will turn out fine. The key points are: rack at 1.040 when actively fermenting (helps the yeast by oxidizing- they did good without this step) add K-meta and sorbate after sg reaches below 1.000 (yeast are done) given time with wood chips ( more time - more wood...

    Corks

OK, that is your problem. The fumes from the metabissulphite is what sterilizes. Some use a lettuce crisper for the corks. one way or another you want the corks above the sulphite for an hour or so. Wet corks are bad. (cork humidor) Other than the wet corks you are correct

Mosti Mondiale La Bodega - Primary Fermentation

Well, You want the wood chips to add flavor so I would wait the 10 -12 days. Second thought. I think I would add the sulfite and sorbate, stir it up good one last time and wait a month, then rack per instuctions and bottle. The main thing to me at this point is time with wood chips. You...

    Corks

One time when filling the bottles I could not hit the mark to save my life. I kept over filling and had to pour into the next bottle. When it came time to pull the corks I broke more than one cork screw and had to cut some of the corks out with a knife. I think that the wet neck and cork may...
