    Wine making in review

Since all my winemaking is on hold for another 17 months, I'm reviewing what I learned when I was brewing in GE. Most of my wines were wild fruit or flower based. Some were okay but I can not honestly say any were very good. I had loads of fun but am not pleased with the overall outcome. So...

    Orange Banana,,,,

This sounds like it could be a delightful wine but question the peels. I used limes with my strawberry last year and they overpowered the entire flavor. Not nice at all. It should be interesting to see how it comes out.

I've been opening some of my 09 wines. I'm feelin' a bit of pride and cockiness. All this brewing stuff really works! Here are the results so far: Red Clover: very strong, :d more like rocket fuel. clear and thick. Not sure I like the taste. Red Currant: Beautiful color and clarity, a bit...

Hi There! I am also from Minneapolis area but am in the Air Force posted overseas at the moment. I was home for Easter visiting my son. I love this forum. The advice from some of the senior members saved my entire brew of Elderberry wine last year. They are really great. Welcome!
