I am leaving today for two weeks of training, but when I get back I plan on making my tropical fruit variant and finishing the black and blue wine I started several months ago.

I just finished a batch of strawberry lemonade. I used 2 bags of frozen strawberries. I believe they were 4lbs each. I bumped my ABV to about 13.5% and is really good!

This batch was bottled exactly 3 weeks after I started it

I just did that to maintain a constant temperature. I still used the Sparkaloid

It turned out really well. I even froze some into a wine slushy and that turned out perfect!

I'm near Peoria, so around 3 hours depending on where in Chicago. I get up there occasionally for work

I live in central Illinois and have had no luck locating anywhere to buy juice buckets from. Does anybody know where I can get these or who will ship them? I'd love to do a couple batches of moscato.

Just curious, where did you get the moscato bucket? I'd love to do a moscato batch or 2!

It actually turned out really well! It was the perfect consistency to be able to mix it before you poured it out and tasted great. Luckily there's a freezer on the boat because I see a lot of slushy drinking going on this summer!

After sitting overnight I think it's the perfect consistency. You can squeeze the bag to mix everything back up just like the store bought alcohol slushy, but mine is filled with wine! I do believe I'm trying this tonight after class!

I poured 2 bottles of dragons blood into a gallon Ziploc and put it in the freezer to see what happens. I'm wondering if I can't mix the frozen bag by hand and pour it in a glass

Has anybody tried this? Either in a slushy machine or with a blender? I think it would be a great drink for out on the boat in the summer!
